We Are Royalty!

In case you didn't have enough reasons to rejoice in the Lord, think about this a sec:

As sons and daughters of the King Most High, we have the right to consider ourselves members of Christ's royal family.  This declaration is found in 2 Corinthians 6:18 (NIV), "And, 'I will be a Father to you and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.'"  We are heirs to the kingdom as promised in Galatians 3:29, "If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

Our palace home awaits us in eternity as we are told in John 14:2(NKJV), "In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you."  Wow!  We are going to live in our Father's house, and Jesus personally is preparing our palatial accomodations.  It's good to be in the King's family!

As we claim the title of royalty, we obligate ourselves to conduct ourselves with appropriate decorum.  That means walking with our heads held high, through confidence in our Lord, not our pride.  Nor do we have the right to look down on anyone else, but instead we must treat all others with love befitting our status in God's family.

This is something to celebrate daily, and these great privileges should never be taken for granted.  Knowing that God has exalted us so, we should not fall into Satan's traps of trying to make us feel despondent or unworthy of love.  Those are purely lies, because God's love for us never fades or falters.  The blessings the Lord provides are wonderful, so let's rejoice and praise Him, my fellow princes and princesses!
