The Most Wonderful Birth

On Christmas we celebrate the most wonderful birth of all; the birth of our Savior Jesus to the virgin mother Mary.  As we celebrate Christmas, let's celebrate the life of Jesus and what it means to us, going beyond the Nativity story.

While it is nice to share gifts with the people we love, we need to keep our focus on the greatest gift of all.  God gave us all the key to life everlasting by giving us his beloved son Jesus.

We rejoice in the commemoration of Christ's birth because we know that Christ later sacrificed himself to unburden us of all our sins and make us righteous enough to join him in heaven.

Luke 2:10-11(TNIV) says, "But the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.  Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.'"

Rejoice, for the Messiah hsa come!  And he will come again, Alleluia!
